This study examined “the adoption of ICT in Arewa House Library for academic development”. It identifies the concept of Information and Communication Technology, available ICT facilities in Arewa House Library, extent of Utilization of ICT Facilities in Arewa House Library, challenges associated with ICT adoption and use in Arewa House Library, solutions for improving ICT utilization in Arewa House Library. The research method used in this project study is survey research method. In a survey method, questionnaires are the main instrument for data collection. Frequency tables and percentages are the main tools used for data analysis. Results of the analysis showed that personal computers, internet and email and server system is available in the Arewa House library. The Arewa House library staff sometimes utilizes the hardware and software facilities available. The challenges to the use of ICT facilities in Arewa House library includes technophobia, also according to the study training/retraining development and motivation is a solution to the challenges to the use of ICT facilities in Arewa House library. Recommendations were proffered and the recommendations are: The management should provide enough, complete or adequate ICT facilities to enhance productivity. There should also be adequate training and development motivation to upgrade the use of the available ICT facilities in Arewa House Library.
